Venus Retrograde Trine Uranus

This morning Venus and the Moon both make aspects to Uranus, this suggesting it can be an emotionally erratic time. Uranus is unpredictable and can sometimes be a bit disastrous, but it can also be extremely inventive and creative, and is a great problem solver!

Uranus opposing the Moon and trining Venus retrograde gives us innovative energy to find and create solutions to issues that have arisen or become more prevalent since July 25, when Venus stationed retrograde. Uranus is original, smart and is helpful at offering a different perspective on things. At the same time, it can create a feeling of detachment, the need for emotional freedom and independence. This can be helpful, as detaching from situations/people/ideas can allow for a more objective look. It is important to examine the roots of our emotions from time to time. How much of what you feel is influenced by others? Are you being easily affected by others moods and stress? It is true that we have control over our feelings, but it is also true that our environment and those we share it with play an impact on our mood as well. Try to allow this “detachment” to help bring you more in touch with what you are feeling, instead of disconnecting.

Unpredictable Uranus can also trigger the tendency for unexpected issues to rear their head. Being as present as possible, flexible and understanding is beneficial, as one can make a conscious effort to be a part of the solution and keep a positive attitude, instead of overreacting and exacerbating the problem.

With the Moon in the 1st house, we are our emotions. Libra on the cusp here suggests there is the need to create or find a sense of peace. Life has been a place of extremes lately. All or nothing. Libra’s presence on the Ascendant reminds us balance is essential and should be part of our goal.

Venus retrograde has likely shifted our perspective and the way we normally respond to things, as we have re-evaluated our wants, needs and values. With another few weeks left on her backwards journey from Virgo into Leo, we can expect this rather introspective time of examining that which we love and find pleasure in to continue a bit longer. Additionally, Chiron opposes Mercury and trines Saturn – it is likely we may have to address something that we would much rather not – Chiron and Saturn are present to remind us that this is part of the growth process, problems unacknowledged cannot be fixed. Awareness, though sometimes painful, is a necessary part of change.
